Getting There
& Transportation
Falasarna Beach and Gramvousa Farm are located on the western side of the island, approximately 37 miles from the Chania International Airport "Daskalogiannis." You can fly into that airport from Athens and several other European airports. In order to truly enjoy the beauty of Crete, we recommend renting a car from several vendors available at the airport to get to your accommodations near our venue. We will also be providing a list of driver services that you can choose from closer to the date.

Accomodation
Misyrlena and Duarte have curated a selection of accommodation options below that range from rental villas to small hotels and resorts. If you have any questions about where to stay, please reach out to them. We'd love to help you plan your trip.
FALASARNA
Located 10-15 minutes from the wedding venue, this beach is one of the most famous and beautiful on the island. It offers a mix of small boutique hotels and villas. This is where Misyrlena and Duarte will be staying, and if you want to be closer to the beach, you should too.
KALIVIANI
This traditional Cretan village is home to our wedding venue. All room and hotel options are a 1-5 minute walk away from the church and the restaurant, and about a 15 minute drive to Falasarna Beach. If you want to roam around a picturesque scenery and be close to your room during the wedding, this location is for you.
(Rooms for 2 people, 2 people and 5 people, message Misyrlena if interested)
KOLYMVARI, KISSAMOS & PLATANIAS
These coastal villages are located about 25-30 minutes from our wedding venue and offer options for larger resorts and hotels. They are also a shorter drive from the airport. If you are looking to stay at a place with amenities, spas and private pools and beaches, stay here.
CHANIA
The port of Chania is the closest city to our venue and the one you will be flying into. It offers great food options, shopping, bars and boutique hotels, all of which are about a 50 minutes away from our wedding venue. You can stay here if you are looking for more activities during the day and more accessibility to other parts of the island, on the southern or eastern sides.
